The purpose of the project This Is My Place is to support initiatives, emerging on the ground plan of cooperation between local communities and projects with artistic overlap, realized in the public space of the city districts of Prague.

What are the conditions that need to be met?

• The project must be based on a cooperation plan between a cultural organization (gallery, cinema, art association, interest organizations, etc.), the city district and a selected group of residents (children, seniors, people with disabilities, residents of a particular neighborhood and others)
• The project must be completed with a specific output — e.g. a performance, an exhibition, a walk through community venues, or a creatively crafted story, etc.
• The project should be implemented in the public space of the Czech Republic
• Its implementation (or at least part of it) must take place in the year in which it was supported

What will our support look like?

• Methodical and financial support for the project — i.e. we will help you develop an idea, support your project with data or mediation of contacts and offer financial support in the amount of up to 50 thousand. CZK.
• Consultation of specific topics important for your city with the experienced team of Creative Prague
• Production capacity of part of the Creative Prahy team for the implementation of the project This is my place
• Support through other possibilities of Creative Prague (e.g. Prague chairs and tables)
• Impact Assessment and Follow-up

In 2025, Creative Prague supported and selected the following projects in the public space:

• Chemical Theatre: Prague 8 — Dáblice housing estate and the Hive community center
• Kolektiv Cyrkulárka: Praha 2 — Vinohrady craft workshops and enterprises
• Dreaming Square: Prague 8 — Elsnice Square
• Mezinespace na Háji: Praha 11 - Háje, a short distance from the space Galaxie
• Mobile Laundry: Prague 14 - Černý most, Jahodnice
